This cottage, which dates back 200 years, was once a farmworkers dwelling and now offers guests the chance to stay in an English country cottage which is well equipped, and furnished with taste and style. The cottage has three spacious bedrooms; a double room with an en-suite, and two twin rooms. There is also a spacious kitchen with dining area, and a sitting room which is airy and welcoming. The village offers a pub with cask-ales, and Bulbarrow Hill, one of Dorset's highest points, is nearby, with walks and stunning views. The Jurassic coast and the Abbey at Milton Abbas are also close by.

Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the 'Winter' period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental.

Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the 'Low' and 'Mid' periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday.

'Last Minute Breaks' (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the 'LOW', 'MID', 'HIGH', 'PEAK', 'XMAS' and 'NEW YEAR' periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.

Property feedback

The property was really lovely and the grandchildren loved the room, plenty of space to run off steam. The area was very friendly and there was plenty to do. The scenery and beaches were lovely.
