Fieldsend Bed & Breakfast is situated in the small village of Langton Matravers about two miles from Swanage in the Isle of Purbeck. Langton has strong links to the stone-quarrying industry, still much in evidence today. It has two friendly pubs, a post office/general store and a small museum. Fieldsend is at the end of The Hyde, an unmade road, in a quiet south-facing position, overlooking open fields and just a few minutes walk to the village shop for the morning paper. A footpath just a few metres to the rear of the B&B takes you through National Trust farmland right to the stunning Jurassic Coast cliff tops. Produce for our breakfasts is sourced from small, local producers or gathered from our own smallholding. Accommodation We can accommodate two guests sharing in the double bedroom with private bathroom. Guests also have sole use of a sitting room with a colour television, hot drinks facilities, comfortable seating and plenty of books and maps of the area. A full English breakfast is served in the sitting room. The accommodation has a private entrance and hallway, and there is space for parking Location Peacefully located in the heart of the Isle of Purbeck with a huge network of footpaths and bridleways are right on the doorstep with the award-winning beaches of Swanage and Studland within easy reach. The famous Square & Compass pub in Worth Matravers is nearby for some lively evening entertainment. In fact, there are plenty of places to eat and drink as you would expect in such a popular holiday area. Tariff £70.00 for the first night £60.00 for all subsequent nights.
