Owners Nigel Tancock and Sarah Harris are hands-on in every way, sharing their passion and energy with the committed staff.

Separate from the main inn and restaurant and formed around a central courtyard, we have 21 luxury rooms. The bedrooms are individually and stylishly decorated to a very high standard with modern furnishings and the comfiest beds - our rooms are like no others.

Each bedroom has a colour television, alarm clock, direct-dial telephone, complimentary coffee and tea facilities, an en suite bathroom with bath or shower, hair dryer and all those little comforts which you would naturally expect.
 
Our executive rooms are spacious and highly appointed with bath and shower.
 
Our two suites have king size beds, whirlpool baths, walk in showers and lounge seating areas overlooking the pool. Ideal for any special occasion.
 
Bar & restaurant in Dorset - Passionate about food
 
We are passionate about using the finest local ingredients with meat, fish, game, bread and cheeses from local suppliers. Our wine list features wines from all over the world and our house wines are excellent quality and value. We always have 3 real ales available in addition to keg beers and lagers.
 
The ambience is informal and casual. There is an extensive bar menu which can be enjoyed in our decked areas around the pool or inside. In the evening you can dine alfresco or indoors in our 17th Century restaurant.
 
Our chefs are happy to adapt the menu to suit special dietary requirements.
 
We are open to residents and non-residents for all meals, on every day of the year - breakfast, lunch, light lunches, morning coffee, afternoon tea, dinner... or just come in and have a look around!

Something for everyone
 
We have lovely pool which is heated as soon as the weather turns fine until around the end of September. Set in a privately enclosed sun trap, you could be anywhere in the world!
 
Around the pool is a beautiful riverside garden and decked areas. An ideal place to enjoy lunch or a drink.
 
There are also lots of lovely walks along the bridleway from the car park.

A 10% discount would apply to reservations of one week or more.
 
Dogs are welcome
£4.50 per dog per night, £17.50 per week.
 
The Inn reserves the right to alter tariffs with no prior notification.
 
We will ask for a credit card deposit for 50% of the total cost to secure your booking. If you would prefer to send a cheque as a deposit, we request that it covers the whole amount of your accommodation.
 
Cancellation policy
In the event of a cancellation we will return deposit with 7 or more days notice but with less than 7 days notice we will retain the deposit unless we can relet the room.
