It has one double bedroom with an en-suite bathroom with corner bath and hand held shower attachment. The living area is open plan with a fitted kitchen as well as shared use of a garden with your own furniture. Thornhill is an ideal base for discovering Thomas Hardy country, as this area is rich in heritage and history being just a short drive from both Shaftesbury and Sherborne with its historic Abbey and Castle, and if you fancy venturing a little further afield, you are not too far from Bath and Salisbury as well as the World Heritage site of Stonehenge.

Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the 'Winter' period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental.

Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the 'Low' and 'Mid' periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday.

'Last Minute Breaks' (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the 'LOW', 'MID', 'HIGH', 'PEAK', 'XMAS' and 'NEW YEAR' periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.

Property feedback

From the living room in Thornhill you have a wonderful view over a beautiful landscape and it is not too far away from Salisbury, Stonehenge, Bath, the Jurassic Coast and many other interesting sites in South West of England. We had a wonderful stay there and I am sure that we will come back.

,The decor was very unusual and interesting. The cottage was quiet but also very accessible via A30. Very interesting 'library' and pictures. I can recommend 'The Udder Farm Shop' and Kings Head, East Stour for food.
