Wilksworth Farm is situated in an historic setting. The house a Grade 2* listed building, was once owned by Henry VIII and is listed in the Doomsday Book. Today the site still enjoys the tranquility of this beautiful part of Dorset.
 
The touring and camping areas are very attractively laid out, with every modern convenience. All the pitches have electric hook up and for that extra touch of luxury we also offer some full service pitches with mains, drainage and water hook-ups.
 
EATING
 
The Olde Cart Shed serves everything from teas/coffees, full English breakfast, lunches, Dorset clotted cream teas to hot meals and take-aways. Whilst we are not licensed to sell alcohol, feel free to bring along your own, and enjoy the warm friendly atmosphere.
 
During peak times it is open every lunch time, evening and weekend
 
WASHING
 
Voted in the loo of the year awards 2006 the toilets at Wilksworth are 5*. The showering and toilet facilities have recently undergone a complete refurbishment and offer every modern convenience including; free hair dryers, free showers, shaving points, and even under floor heating!! There is also a disabled bathroom and for any families who prefer a little more privacy there is a family bathroom available upon request.
 
OTHER FACILITIES
 
There is a laundry room on site with washers and dryers. There is also a public phone located here as well.
 
There is a large undercover washing up area which all campers can use.
 
A recreational bbq area is located up near the play area which any residents on the park are free to use.
 
RECREATION
 
For Recreation there is plenty on offer at Wilksworth. There is a superb newly refurbished fully heated outdoor swimming pool which includes a junior pool. There is also a full size and junior size tennis court, a dog exercise paddock and bbq area. For the children there is a large play area which includes a bmx track, football pitch and volleyball court.
 
There is also a games room which is includes table tennis, pool, and table football. Wilksworth is also situated in the heart of rural Dorset with some of the finest countryside and walks in Southern England. There are many picturesque walks and cycling routes and public leisure facilities within a few minutes drive.
 
The park itself is situated in the heart of the Dorset countryside with beautiful views surrounding throughout. There is also a private dog walk which enjoys some of these spectacular views across the unspoilt countryside, as well as a dog exercise paddock. Visitors can also visit Wilksworth's very own Duck pond, where you can have a chance to feed the ducks!
